Zeiram 2 Licensed

Without sending out any press-releases or making any major announcements, Media Blasters quietly revealed on their Tokyo Shock web-page that they have licensed the live-action Zeiram 2 movie for domestic release. Fans of the first Zeiram movie and fans of the Iria anime series should be very pleased by this great news. Zeiram 2 does not have quite the same degree of frantic, kinetic energy and originality that the first film did, but the direct sequel does feature the original cast and crew, and a much bigger budget than the first film, which shows in the awesome costumes, monsters and special effects of Zeiram 2. (In your editor’s opinion, the second film is easily as good as the first.)
