RSI Licenses Vanilla Series

Critical Mass, the adult anime subdivision of Right Stuf International, has announced that they have acquired the American translation and distribution rights to the Vanilla Series. Similar to the Cream Lemon, Cool Devices and Secret Anima Series, the Vanilla series is a currently ongoing series of multiple OAV series from different creators. Some of the numerous releases under the Vanilla Series label include Tetsuya Ohno’s entertaining 4 episode Mei-King, and Masami (Virus, Gokaiser) Obari’s current series Angel Blade. The Vanilla Series episodes Kouin Tenshi, Mechiku, and Ikenie have already been translated by Media Blasters as Co-Ed Affairs, Office Affairs, and Sins of the Flesh.

The first domestic release will be the 2 episode Bondage Mansion (Kinbaku no Yakata). While each episode was released in Japan on censored VHS & DVD at 6,800 yen per episode, Critical Mass will release both episodes on uncensored bilingual DVD and dubbed VHS on March 26 at $24.95 and $19.95 respectively.
