Dragon Quest 7 Confirmed for US Release

Enix has confirmed that they are in the midst of a 17,000 page English localization of Dragon Quest VII that should be on American store shelves by the end of the year. Although quite dated looking, Dragon Quest VII is less than a year old, and is already the best selling Playstation game ever released, having sold over 4 million copies in Japan alone. As with all of the previous Dragon Quest games, character design was provided by Akira Toriyama, and the game was directed by Yuji Horii, who also responsible for game and scenario design in Chrono Trigger.
