Mamoru Oshii to Direct Fan Submission

Tohokushinsha Film Corporation has officially announced that the winner of last year’s Anime Plan Grand Prix, a competition open to Japanese anime fans to submit an idea for an anime series, will be adapted into a 2-3 part anime series by Production IG. Mamoru Oshii will personally direct the anime adaptation of “Fuujin Monogatari ~ Windy Tale” for Japanese television and DVD release next spring.
