New Details Surface On Animax Asia Anime Production

Variety reports that singer-actress Josie Ho and Taiwan singer-actor Van Ness Wu will star as voice actors in ANIMAX Asia’s first international animated film production for Southeast Asian broadcast. LaMB is a sci-fi action story set in a prison camp where high-tech suits keep prisoners restrained but productive. The story is based on a concept from Philippine writer Carmelo S. J. Juinio. LaMB will be directed by Japan’s Ryusoke Tei, and storyboarded by Yasufumi Soejima. The animation will be produced by Singapore-based Peach Blossom Media. American band The Click Five and Canada’s Simple Plan will provide the film’s soundtrack.

LaMB will air on the Animax Asia television network next year. The film will also be distributed online and via mobile phones.
