Animax Announces New Anime Production

The second page of a promotional PDF issued by the Tokyo International Anime Fair reveals that during its tenth anniversary press conference, to be held on the 27th at the convention, Japanese satellite television network Animax will formally announce the development of an anime series titled “Ultraviolet: Code 044.” The Moon Phase comments board reports that the anime series will be directed by veteran animator Osamu Dezaki and feature character designs from veteran character designer Akio Sugino. Dezaki and Sugino have worked together numerous times on classic anime franchises including Ashita no Joe, Aim for the Ace, and Space Adventure Cobra.
