G-Savior Announced for US Release

Bandai Entertainment has confirmed that the live-action Mobile Suit Gundam: G-Savior TV movie will be released in America as a DVD exclusive on January 22, 2002. The Gundam 20th Anniversary movie was filmed in English with a cast of American and Canadian actors, and was aired in Japan dubbed into Japanese. The film is set in a totally original continuity, but maintains all the characteristic elements of UC Gundam and employs full CG Gundam mobile suits from the UC timeline and original mecha created for the G-Savior movie.
