Vertical Expanding into Manga

Vertical, Inc., the American publishing subsidiary of the Japanese ITOCHU Corporation, will be expanding its English translated offerings with additional Japanese fiction novels and manga. Currently, Vertical, Inc. publishes the official English language translation of Koji Suzuki novel Ring. Plans call for future English language publication of:

Twinkle Twinkle by Ekuni Kaori
Ashes by Kenzo Kitakata
Guin Saga volumes 1-3 by Kaoru Kurimoto
Ijin-tachi to no Natsu by Taichi Yamada
Consent by Randy Taguchi

And Osamu Tezuka’s manga Buddha volumes 1-4, to be published in 400 page hardcover editions retailing at $25 each.
