Upcoming DVD Updates

Apparently Akira will be re-released on domestic DVD on December 3rd in a new DVD edition that includes a Japanese language DTS audio track. The Akira DTS edition will retail for $24.98.

Pioneer has confirmed that 5,000 copies of Hellsing DVD 3 will be issued on November 12th with a bonus variant Alucard action figure and a matching $15 price increase.

The first 3 DVD volumes of Mobile Fighter G-Gundam will be available for $19.98 each or as a 3 disc set on November 5th. The MSRP of the 3 disc set has now decreased from $49.98 to $44.98.

Apparently Viz has increased the suggested retail cost of the 3 episode long Inuyasha DVD volume 1, from $24.98 up to $29.98.
