TOKYOPOP’s Cowboy Bebop Manga Recognized

TOKYOPOP’s Cowboy Bebop volume 1 manga has been included on the New York Public Library’s “Books For The Teen Age 2003 List.” The esteemed “Books For The Teen Age 2003 List” is now in its 74th year of publication. Each year, titles are read, reviewed and recommended for this publication by librarians for young adult readers. The list is then sold to school and public libraries in all 50 states, as well as internationally. “We are delighted that Cowboy Bebop has been included on this very prestigious list,” said TOKYOPOP President and COO, John Parker. “It is truly great to see that graphic novels are becoming more widely accepted throughout the library system.
