NSIA Acquires Princess and the Pilot

NIS America has announced plans to release the 2011 fantasy adventure drama movie The Princess and the Pilot (Toaru Hikushi e no Tsuioku) on domestic Blu-ray on May 14. Studio Madhouse’s adaptation of Koroku Inumura’s romance novel revolves around a wartime military pilot charged with transporting his country’s princess to safety by flying through enemy occupied territory. The domestic release will be a limited edition set including a subtitled Blu-ray disc, 32-page hardcover illustration book, and collectable slipcover retailing at $44.99.

Not a bad movie, just a somewhat bland and ordinary one.
