Slayers DVD Re-Release Exchange Program Details Announced

Now that Central Park Media has released its remastered, corrected Slayers first season DVD boxed set that fixes the audio defect found in the original set, CPM has opened its exchange program for consumers that own the defective original set.

Consumers that own the original DVD set with an inverted phase audio defect are encouraged to print this PDF mail in form and mail it in along with $9.99 ($13.99 Canadian) and the loose 4 original DVDs in order to receive replacement discs. Seemingly in order to make up for the inconvenience and the requirement of having to pay postage to CPM plus an additional $10 in return postage, CPM is also offering, to consumers exchanging Slayers DVDs, several of its DVD boxed sets at discounted prices.

While the new Slayers DVD set corrects the audio flaw from the original DVD set, it is still unclear whether or not the “remastered” DVD set restores the footage missing from the final episode that was inadvertently removed from the original DVD release.
