Second Yozakura Quartet TV Series Announced

Yozakura Quartet creator Suzuhito Yasuda has revealed word that a second Yozakura Quartet anime television series is now in development. The new TV series will not be a sequel to the 2008 series. It will be a new, expanded reboot directed by Ryo-timo, director of the 2010 Yozakura Quartet ~Hoshi no Umi~ OAD series.

Separately, the first episode of the Yozakura Quartet ~Tsuki ni Naku~ OAD series will be released exclusively with the 14th manga volume on September 9.

I really want to love this franchise. I just wish it would make sense.
