Robot Hunter Casshan Live Action Movie Announced

Shochiku has officially announced development of a live action Robot Hunter Casshern movie for 2004 release. Casshan originated as a 1970s live action super hero program, turned into a 35 episode anime TV series in 1973, and was revived as a 4 episode anime OAV series in 1993. The official website contains a teaser trailer with no film footage.
