Read or Die Third OAV Release Date Confirmed

Anime News Network reports that the highly anticipated third and final R.O.D. (Read or Die) OAV will be released on Japanese DVD on February 6th for ¥6000.

Read or Die is a story about Yomiko Readman, an ordinary 25 year old teacher with a secret. She’s a secret agent for the Royal British Library’s Division of Special Operations. Yomiko, who has the power to physically manipulate paper or any material similar to paper, must team up with a new partner, Nancy Deep, who has the power to make herself intangible, to prevent a mysterious organization from threatening the world’s peace.

According to unconfirmed rumor, Manga Entertainment has secured the North American translation and distribution rights to the series.
