Twelve Kingdoms Announcements

The official Japanese NHK Juuni Kokki website appears to state that the planned 68 episode broadcast of Juuni Kokki (Record of 12 Kingdoms) has been trimmed down to 45. The slightly confusing site lists episode 45 as the last episode of the current story arc, and lower on the page, as the last episode of the series.

Apparently contrary to statements made by Media Blasters at the recent Otakon convention, Del Rey Books does not own the English language translation rights to the Juuni Kokki novels.
