PLAY! A Video Game Symphony Tour Begins This Summer

The team behind the US tour of the “Dear Friends: Music from FINAL FANTASY” concert will sponsor “PLAY! A Video Game Symphony.” Grammy award winning conductor Arnie Roth will serve as Principal Conductor and Music Director for the touring orchestra that will perform music from video games including Final Fantasy, Shenmue, Silent Hill, Metal Gear Solid, and The Legend of Zelda. PLAY! takes off May 27th in Chicago, with Japanese composers Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger), Yuzo Koshiro (Shenmue), and Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill) attending. Concert dates in Philadelphia, Vienna (Virginia) and Toronto have been announced as well.
