Pioneer News from Otakon

Pioneer announced at last weekend’s Otakon convention that the Fushigi Yuugi Eikoden OAV series will debut in America this November. Ai Yori Aoshi will premier in America next February. Chobits will premier in America next March. Tiny Snow Fairy Sugar will debut in America next spring. The Sakura Taisen movie will be released to home video and theatrically in America some time next year. Patlabor WXIII, the third Patlabor theatrical movie, will also premier on American home video sometime next year.

The current 6 (planned) episode Gatekeepers 21 OAV series will eventually be released in America on 2 DVDs.

A 4 disc Hand Maid May DVD boxed set will be released in America at an undetermined future date. The set will include all 3 animation DVDs, a CD of liner and background notes, and a collectable figure.
