Over Lord Anime Announced

The advertising obi found on new copies of the 7th volume of Kugane Maruyama’s fantasy light novel series Over Lord reveals that the franchise will be getting an anime adaptation. The novel series stars a boy who refuses to log-out of an online fantasy game when the game is shut down. The boy finds that the game world continues to exist and evolve independently, so he decides to strive to become the overlord of the entire digital world. The novel series premiered online in 2010.
