Capcom Announces Gaist Crusher Franchise

Capcom has formally announced its development of a multimedia franchise titled “Gaist Crusher.” The franchise will include an anime television series animated by Studio Pierrot, a Nintendo 3DS game, manga, toys and collectables. The futuristic sci-fi action story will pit human children in battles against “Gaist” monsters from deep underground that emerge to the surface. Studio Pierrot will also produce the animation footage for inclusion in the 3DS game.
