North American Inuyasha DVD Sales Hit One Million

According to ICv2 News, since October 2002 Viz has released 28 different Inuyasha DVD products (23 TV series volumes, one movie, one box set, one limited edition box set, and two special packs) that have accumulated one million total sales in America and Canada. Providing evidence that anime has yet to hit blockbuster status in America, Inuyasha, one of the highest profile American release anime series, averages sales of roughly 35,700 copies per release.
