New York Times Reviews Blood

As noteworthy as anything in the simple regard that the New York Times would recognize an anime film, the Times has published a short, mixed but quite accurate and incisive review of Blood: The Last Vampire. Like many reviews, this criticism points out the amazingly realistic art and the relative lack of story or depth to the film, partially due to the film being considered not a stand-alone film in Japan but only one part of a larger multimedia presentation that includes manga, a novel and a pair of Playstation 2 interactive movie games.
