New Sailormoon in the Works?

New rumors circulating in Tokyo suggest that Naoko Takeuchi is in the process of updating Sailormoon for a return in 2001. Nothing has yet been confirmed, though. The rumors indicate that the “classic” Sailormoon will be changed and updated for new readers and viewers. Conflicting rumors make it unclear whether Ms. Takeuchi is simply updating the old Sailormoon characters, creating an entirely new cast of sailor senshi or combining aspects of both ideas.
