New Media Blasters Licenses

Media Blasters has revealed that they will be translating and distributing two new fantasy TV series in America, Gokudokun Manyuki and Fortune Quest L. Gokudokun Manyuki (Gokudokun’s Travelogue) is a 1999 release 26 episode fantasy comedy in the vein of Slayers, produced by Pioneer. Fortune Quest L is a 1997 26 episode TV series parody of traditional swords and sorcery RPGs similar to Mahoujin Guru Guru.

Media Blasters has also revealed that they intend to translate the entire Demon Boy Zenki TV series if the initial 13 episode DVD release sells well. Software Sculptors originally released the series on subtitled VHS several years ago, but only released TV episodes 1-13.
