Hitsugi no Chaika Anime Announced

Publisher Fujimi Shobo has revealed word that Scrapped Princess author Ichiro Sakaki’s fantasy adventure light novel series Hitsugi no Chaika (Chaika’s Coffin) will receive an anime adaptation. The ongoing novel series debuted in 2010. The series revolves around an ex-soldier and his little-sister-esque traveling companion who encounter a sorceress who carries a coffin. Sakaki’s light novel series Scrapped Princess, Strait Jacket, Magician’s Academy, Polyphonica, and CODE-E have received anime adaptations, and his Outbreak Company ~ Moeru Shinryakusha novel series has been optioned for anime adaptation.
