Gokujyo First Episode Not Broadcast

Less than six hours before the scheduled broadcast of the first episode of the Gokujyo. ~Gokurakuin Joshi Koryo Monogatari~ anime television series on the Chukyo TV network on the 16th, the network pulled the episode and instead ran an apology message explaining that the episode would not be aired and the series would begin broadcast with its second episode next week. The DMM.com retail multimedia site will stream the first episode for free for a limited time beginning on January 30.

The first episode of the risqué comedy, which depicts a high school girl who forgot to wear panties to school trying to steal another girl’s underwear, was pulled from broadcast due to “self-restraint.” Gokujyo manga creator Maya Miyazaki reported via Twitter that she was not informed in advance that the TV network would censor the broadcast.
