FUNimation Announcements from Otakon

At this past weekend’s Otakon convention, FUNimation announced its acquisition of translation rights to the School Rumble anime series (both TV series & the OAV series).

FUNimation also announced that the final 3 DVD volumes of uncut Dragonball Z season 1 will not be released individually. FUNimation has plans to release Dragonball Z in complete season digipack sets. The first season set will contain 39 episodes and will cost less than purchasing the final 3 uncut DBZ season one DVDs individually.

Afro Samurai will debut on American DVD next March.
