Discotek License Rescues Tekkaman Blade II

Discotek has announced its acquisition of distribution rights to the 1994 Tekkaman Blade II OVA series. The series is a sequel to 1992’s Tekkaman Blade television series, which itself was a remake of the 1975 Space Knight Tekkaman television series. Urban Vision previously released the six-episode Tekkaman Blade II series on domestic VHS & DVD.

Since Discotek seems to be scooping up all of Urban Vision’s expired licenses, I wonder if and when we’ll see them announce titles including Bio Hunter, Psycho Diver, Twilight of the Dark Master, and The Cockpit.
