Bayonetta Movie to Premiere in November

Anime production studio Gonzo has revealed that Bayonetta: Bloody Fate, its feature film adaptation of Sega & Platinum Games’ 2009 action game Bayonetta, will open theatrically in 10 Japanese theaters on November 23. Fuminori Kizaki, the director of Afro Samurai and Gonzo’s Super Street Fighter IV OVA, is helming the film from a screenplay written by Mitsutaka Hirota (X-Men). Original game character designer Mari Shimazaki is supervising the anime character designs drafted by Ai Yokoyama (X-Men).
