Battle Chasers Game in the Works

American comic book artist Joe Madureira stated in an interview that he is close to signing a deal that will bring his anime/manga inspired Battle Chasers comic series to the Playstation 2. The game company has not been named, but Madureira recent did the advertising artwork for Interplay’s Gekido. The Battle Chasers comic has been criticized by some anime and manga fans for character design that greatly resemble that of existing anime and manga series.
