Air on Blu-ray Announced

Pony Canyon has announced that the Air anime television series will be released in a 4 disc Blu-ray DVD boxed set on November 1. The set will contain the 12 episode television series and both TV specials on 3 discs, and a fourth disc containing an image gallery and 130 minutes of cast interviews. The TV series will include the original 90 second opening animation used during the TV broadcast, plus an original high definition 3 minute long opening animation produced exclusively for the Blu-ray release. The set will retail at 29,800 yen (approx. $257).
