17th Crayon Shin-chan Movie Announced

Japanese publisher Futabasha has formally announced that the 17th Crayon Shin-chan theatrical film, “Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Otakebe! Kasukabe Yasei Okoku” (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Roar! Kasukabe Wild Kingdom), will premiere on April 18, 2009. In the film, the “Human Animal Transformation Project” will turn kindergartner Shinnosuke Nohara and his family into animals.

Although the official Japanese Crayon Shin-chan movie homepage has not updated in relation to the upcoming movie yet, the teaser trailer for the 17th film has turned up on YouTube.
