10th Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro Anime Movie Announced

Toei Animation has revealed plans to release its tenth Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro anime film in Japanese theaters this December. Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro: Nihon Bakuretsu!! (Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro: Japan Explodes!!) will be the first anime feature based on the current fifth Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro anime television series.

The movie’s screening during the 2009 new year holiday will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro manga.
