Yu Yu Hakusho Official Site Opened

FUNimation has opened its official home page for Yu Yu Hakusho. The main page includes several interesting facts regarding the series’ popularity when it was broadcast on Japanese television. For the benefit of fans that may not be familiar with the Japanese TV viewer percentage ratings scale, the official site states that Yu Yu Hakusho earned ratings in the 20’s. By comparison, current anime TV series including Hellsing and Project Arms earn ratings in the 2’s; very popular current shows like Inuyasha, One Piece, and Crayon Shin-chan earn ratings ranging from the 12’s to the 15’s; and out of all of the anime currently broadcast on Japanese television, only Detective Conan and Sazae-san earn ratings in the 20’s.
