Witchblade Manga Coming to America

Comic company Top Cow has announced plans to publish Kobayashi Yasuko & Sumita Kazasa’s original Japanese Witchblade Takeru manga series in America beginning in February 2007. Top Cow’s version of the manga will be re-formatted to read left to right, will be colored for the American market, and will be released in monthly American comic book format. Reportedly the extensive alterations have, “the full blessing of the original artist and the original Japanese publisher.”

Later in 2007 Bandai Entertainment will release an unaltered, Japanese format, English translated version of the manga.
