Will the DVD Version Have More Trouble?
The Japanese ToLOVEru Kousatsu blog has discovered that studio production model sheets for the current ToLOVEru anime television series clearly depict Lala’s nipples, fueling speculation that the Japanese DVD version episodes will be free of the Girls Bravo-style steam censoring used in the television broadcast.

I haven’t personally seen the show yet, but based on the screenshots I’ve seen, it does make me strongly consider buying the R2 DVDs. I’ve never personally been a big fan of steam, spinning faces, a guy with a miserarenai sign, or keep out tape. They might get a laugh the first time, but after that, I find them rather annoying. But when they do add it, it does provide an incentive to get the DVDs.
Previously, I was only going to get D.C.II.S.S. and considering also picking upon Kanokon from this season. Now, I’ll have to consider whether to get Kanokon or To-LOVE-ru or both, depending on whether I like them come June. Assuming I find the time to get around to watching them before the R2 DVDs come out. Of course, the DVD might not have that much detail. I suppose I could wait until they are released, but then I would miss out on any first press bonuses…
