Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema Announces Programming

The Waterloo Festival for Animated Cinema has announced its full program for the 2006 festival, scheduled for November 16th-19th at The Gig Theatre in Ontario, Canada. The event will host the North American premier of the acclaimed Toki o Kakeru Shoujo, along with screenings of Hoshizora Kiseki, and the Japanese full CG short films Hanare Toride no Yonna and Negadon.

The film festival will also host screenings of the Russian film Dobrynia Nikitich i Zmei Gorynych, the full CG Thai animated film Khan Kluay, the Chinese short Legend of Shangri-La, the world premier of the South Korean short film Mianhada, Saranghanda, and the acclaimed stop-motion animation film Blood Tea and Red String.
