Voice Actors Lend Their Talents for Peace & Charity

Voices For, a new non-profit organization, will release “Voices for Peace,” an album of modern and classic war protest songs sung by American anime voice actors. All profits from the album will be donated to the CARE and Doctors Without Borders charities. The album will be released on May 1, 2006 and there will be a special preview at Shiokazecon in Houston, TX April 28 – 30.

Vocals for Voices for Peace are performed by Greg Ayres, Chris Ayres, Chris Patton, Brittney Karbowski, Mike McFarland, Tiffany Grant, Kira Vincent-Davis, Amanda Winn Lee, Jamie McGonnigal, and Voices For founder Jan Scott-Frazier.

The music was performed by Dale Tippett, Jon Sugerman, Rich “#4” Aszling, Justin Smith and Jan Scott-Frazier with additional tracks by Chicago gothic metal band Something Beautiful, and Mike McFarland, Evan Jones and Jerry Jewell.

Graphic artists contributing to the album include Doug Smith, Robert DeJesus, Stephen R. Bennett IV, Rikki Simons, Tavisha Simons, and Kevin Bolk.
