Viz to Re-release Ranma ½

Viz has formally announced plans to re-release the Ranma ½ anime TV series and original manga. Viz initially released the 161-episode TV series on domestic VHS & DVD from 1995-2008. The series will be re-released on DVD and Blu-ray. Viz will begin re-releasing Rumiko Takahashi’s original Ranma ½ manga on March 11, 2014. Each two-volume omnibus book will retail at $14.99 and will be published with original right to left panel layout for the first time in America.

Hopefully this time around the home video release of the TV series will have the episodes in the correct order with their proper credits sequences attached, unlike the initial Viz release.
