Viz to Commemorate the Ending of the Ruroni Kenshin Manga

Viz has announced plans to commemorate the release of the 28th and final English translated volume of Rurouni Kenshin manga next month with several peripheral publications.

The September 2006 issue of Shonen Jump USA Magazine will contain a Ruroni Kenshin retrospective as well as the rare “Yahiko no Sakabato” short manga story.

The Rurouni Kenshin: Voyage to the Moon World novel by Kaoru Shizuka will be released in English on October 17.

The first English translated volume of Rurouni Kenshin creator Nobuhiro Watsuki’s current manga series, Buso Renkin, will debut on August 1.
