Beginning in next month’s issue of Animerica Extra magazine, translated chapters of the Fushigi Yuugi, Short Program 2, Utena and Banana Fish manga serials will be published in Japanese format right-to-left. Video Girl Ai and Steam Detectives will remain published in American format left-to-right.

Beginning in October the new release Fushigi Yuugi graphic novel 9 and Utena graphic novel 4 will be published in Japanese format at a retail price of $9.95 each. The first graphic novel volume of each title will also be re-released in right-to-left format that month.

There are also plans to reprint the Banana Fish and Maison Ikkoku graphic novels in bi-monthly, Japanese format editions retailing at $9.95. For the first time in America, the Maison Ikkoku graphic novel reissues will be unedited.
