Viz License Rescues Seirei no Moribito

Viz Media has announced plans to re-release the 2007 Seirei no Moribito television series. Media Blasters initially released Production I.G and director Kenji Kamiyama’s 26-episode adaptation of Nahoko Uehashi’s novel series on DVD and Blu-ray from 2009-2011. Viz will re-release the series on domestic DVD and (from what I hear) [remastered] Blu-ray this year and will begin streaming the series on January 17.
