Vintage Anime Coming to DVD

Japanese home video distributor Digital Meme has announced plans to release a 4 disc DVD set containing 55 Japanese animated cartoons dating from the 1920s and 1930s. The DVDs are intended for Japanese and international consumption, so they will be all-region compatible and include optional English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean subtitles. The “Japanese Classic Anime Collection” DVD set will retail at 12,800 beginning April 30th.
