Video Game Updates

Two weeks ago, during a strategy conference, Capcom mentioned that the new Vampire/Dark Stalkers title announced is a compilation disc which contains the original Vampire, Vampire Hunter and Vampire Savior, rather than a brand new title. The Dreamcast version will contain 100% arcade perfect ports, with the new Internet Matching support. Vampire for the DC is scheduled to be released in Japan sometime this August.

Square announced that pre-orders of Final Fantasy IX have now reached 1,002,227 units. Images of the front and back of Japanese packaging are now available. The back of the box lists the game as requiring only one memory card block, and does not mention Pocketstation compatibility.
