Squaresoft is throwing their full support behind Bandai’s color Wonderswan hand-held system by officially announcing ports of Final Fantasy 1-3 for the system, and the chocobo adventure game Hataraku Chocobo. Final Fantasy 1 is scheduled for release in December. Hataraku Chocobo will be out in Japan on September 21st.

The Japanese Gameboy Color will get a new Card Captor Sakura adventure game on October 6th.

The long delayed Patlabor Playstation game will be released on November 30th with a retail price of 6800 yen. The game is equal parts interactive adventure with the classic Patlabor cast in traditional 2D animation, including the new Section 2 recruit Midori Soratani, and mecha simulation, putting the player in full control of a CG rendered labor. In the action sections of the game, players must use their labor to fight other rogue labors in hand-to-hand combat, with a control system similar to that of Xenogears, or use their labor’s pistol in a first-person shooting mode.

The cast of the original Grandia game returns in the Color Gameboy RPG Grandia: Parallel Trippers, due out in December with a retail price of 4500 yen.

The venerable Super Robot game series ventures into new territory in December with the Color Gameboy title Super Robot Pinball. The traditional pinball game will feature SD robots from Gundam, Mazinger, Evangelion, Dancougar and more.

A new You’re Under Arrest adventure game, created by Pioneer LDC, will be released for the Playstation in Japan this December.
