Valhalla Entertainment Acquires Gaiking Movie Rights

Terminator, Aliens, and Incredible Hulk producer Gale Anne Hurd’s production company Valhalla Entertainment has signed a deal with Toei Animation and All Nippon Entertainment Works to produce a live-action American Gaiking movie, based on Toei’s 1976 anime television series Daiku Maryu Gaiking. Toei comissioned the production of a 90-second CG Gaiking pilot video in 2010 to kick-start interest in development of a feature film.
