Utena Movie Licensed by CPM

Anime Next has confirmed that Central Park Media has licensed the Utena movie for release in the US this fall on bilingual DVD and dubbed VHS. The voice cast from the original CPM dub of TV episodes 1-13 is expected to return to their roles for the movie.

Now let’s hope that CPM soon announces the American license to the remaining 26 TV episodes, as the later part of the Apocalypse of Adolescence movie is a psudo-sequel to the TV series story.
