Upcoming Pioneer Releases

Pioneer has announced the first volume of the dubbed VHS and DVD release of Card Captors, titled “Test of Courage” for November 14th. The three episode volume will retail for $14.98 for the dubbed VHS, and $24.98 for the dubbed DVD. The first volume of subtitled VHS and DVD Card Captor Sakura will also be released on the November 14th. The four episode volume will retail for $24.98 on VHS and $29.98 on DVD.

A new press release from Pioneer Entertainment states that, different from previous reports, Pioneer now has plans to release the first three-episode Fushigi Yuugi OAV series on a single VHS tape under the title Fushigi Yuugi Special. Each episode will include the “omake” footage at the conclusion of the episode. The 90 minute tape is now scheduled for release on November 14th with a retail price of $24.95 in dubbed and subtitled format.
