Director Hironobu Sakaguchi and producer Jun Aida have stated that they are producing the Final Fantasy movie with a target MPAA rating of PG-13. Their goal is to create a film that will appeal to both younger and adult audiences without alienating some viewers with an R rating.

While participating in last weekend’s Television Critics Association press tour, Jackie Chan announced that his next film will be Shanghai Knight, a sequel to last summer’s hit Shanghai Noon. There’s no word on whether or not Owen Wilson will return for the sequel.
