Ultraman on Video

Tsuburaya Productions has reached an agreement with one of North America’s largest video companies, Image Entertainment, regarding the North American distribution rights to the Tsuburaya Production feature films “Ultraman Tiga & Ultraman Dyna” (1998) and “Ultraman Gaia: The Battle in Hyperspace” (1999). Both releases will on DVD and VHS. No street date or price has been set yet, though.

Tsuburaya Productions also recently commented, “The 39 original series episodes are available in Japan on DVD and VHS and in Hong Kong on VCD. We are planning a release on DVD in the US probably at the end of 2000, or beginning of 2001. The American release will probably be available in other English speaking territories after that.”
